Zelig Segal- "Yahrtzeit Candle Holder"

A sheet of metal with a horizontal slit torn in the center, reminiscent of the ritual tearing of the garment- ‘kriah’-when one hears the sad news of a loved one's departure. The metal flows into a convex curve formation, in order to hold the memorial candle, producing multiple reflections of the flame. The yahrtzeit candle flame visually echoes other family members who are no longer in this world. Available in sterling silver, silver plate. Available with or without the Hebrew word remember -"zachor”.
